Privacy Policy — ClipMoments

Last updated: June 17, 2026

ClipMoments ("the app") is developed by Maruti Kampli. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Twitch sign-in

ClipMoments uses Twitch's official OAuth sign-in. Your Twitch access token is stored only in your device's secure Keychain and is never sent to any server other than Twitch's own API. ClipMoments does not have its own backend server and does not receive, store, or process your Twitch credentials.

Chat and stream content

Live chat messages are read directly from Twitch's chat service to detect highlight moments on-device. Chat text is processed in memory and is not stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere.

Microphone (optional)

If you enable the optional ambient-audio feature, microphone loudness is measured entirely on your device to help detect highlights. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Clips

When ClipMoments creates a clip, it calls Twitch's official Helix API using your authenticated account — the same as creating a clip yourself in the Twitch app. The clip is stored by Twitch under your account, exactly as if you'd clipped it manually. ClipMoments keeps a local list of clip links on your device.

Subscriptions

ClipMoments Pro is sold via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple; ClipMoments never receives your payment details.

Data we do not collect

ClipMoments does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not collect personal data on any server we operate.
